Questions about Normative, Historical, and Political Aspects of Libertad. Un panfleto civil by Carlos Pereda
Main Article Content
Abstract
Carlos Pereda’s nomadic thought is the attempt to escape from arrogant reason to porous reason through maxims that allow us to ask all kinds of questions, even those that provoke scandal. I challenge Pereda with three questions. The first one asks why, if nomadic thought moves from one place to another, it cannot depart from its own maxims. The second one asks whether the interactive dispute-resolution model is universal or particular and how this interactive model can resolve historical grievances. Finally, the third question concerns how this pamphlet can make us see the commonality in the form of emancipation and political resistance.
