Abstract

This article deals with the question of how to evaluate justificatory judicial reasoning. To this end, the author clarifies the meaning of the one-right-answer thesis, identifies a variety of criteria of correctness, and gives special attention to the ideas of universality, coherence, (good) consequences, social and critical morality, and reasonability.
