Secularization and Messianism. The Political Thought of Jacob Taubes

Abstract
This article systematizes and analyzes the political thought of Jacob Taubes from the concepts of secularism and messianism, putting it in relation to other thinkers close to its historical context and themes, such as Carl Schmitt and Walter Benjamin. Likewise, links between Taubes’s thinking, the history of political concepts and a certain thought of the messianic community are shown, evaluating their relevance to politics.
